You are required to complete campaign finance disclosure reports each year you hold office. You must also complete disclosure reports each year you receive contributions, make expenditures for political purposes, or have a balance in your campaign account. See below for the 2025 filing deadlines.

2025 Year-End Statement

Coverage dates of January 1 through December 31

First date to submit statement: Thursday, January 1, 2026
Last date to submit statement: Saturday, January 31, 2026

Late Filing Fees

All campaign finance statements must be filed in a timely manner according to the applicable due date. If the statement is not timely filed, the filing officer is authorized to charge and collect a late fee as follows (NDCC § 16.1-08.1-06.1).

$25 - If filed within 6 days after the due date
$50 - If filed within 11 days after the due date
$100 - If filed 12 or more days after the due date
