FirstStop ButtonFirstStop & NDLogin Support

To begin using the FirstStop Portal, you will need to create or use an existing North Dakota Login or NDLogin - North Dakota's single-sign-on user account. An NDLogin allows you to access multiple services provided by North Dakota State Government with a single user name and password.

If you have an account with another state agency, such as Workforce Safety & Insurance or Job Service of North Dakota, you may have already created a NDLogin account.

Recover a NDLogin 

If you believe you may already have a NDLogin, visit the FirstStop Portal and click on "Login" in the top right corner to open a pop up window. Click on the "Not Sure" option and try any potential email or phone number you may have used to create the account. If you have logged in before you will be allowed to reset your account, otherwise you will need to create a new account.

Visit the FirstStop Portal and click on "Login" in top right corner to open a pop-up window. Follow the steps to register and login to your account.

Personal or Business NDLogin Account

NDLogin allows you to create either a personal or business account. Things to consider when choosing the right account type for you include: 

Personal Account:

  • Should only be used by one individual and not shared
  • In FirstStop, the My Work Queue will only include filings that were submitted by your personal login
  • Provides the ability to track which person submits each filing for the business

Business Account:

  • Used for online services related to an organization where more than one person may need to have access to the same information.
  • Login and password can be shared among users.
  • All users in FirstStop have access to any filing submitted regarding the organization, including the status of a filing, any corrections needed for a filing, and any certificates and acknowledgements.

  • Issues with online forms in FirstStop can be directed to the Office of the Secretary of State at 701-328-2900.
